Girlguiding leaders from Clydebank West District came together for a special end-of-term celebration, marking the close of another fun-filled year and recognising the contributions of two long-serving volunteers.

The evening, held at the Glen Lusset, was a chance for leaders to reflect on a successful year of activities, camps, and adventures with their units.

Commissioner thanks

There were heartfelt presentations of flowers and gifts to Linda Hood and Michelle Pearson, thanking them for their dedication and leadership in their roles as Division Commissioner and District Commissioner, respectively.

Linda and Michelle have supported countless volunteers and girls across Clydebank, helping to create opportunities for young people to grow, thrive and have fun through Girlguiding.

Making a difference

Brownie and Guide leader May Main, who helped organiser the get-together, said: “It was lovely to come together and show our appreciation for everything Linda and Michelle have done. Their passion and commitment have made such a difference.”
