Four dedicated Girlguiding Dunbartonshire volunteers enjoyed a day to remember at a royal garden party hosted by His Majesty King Charles III.
Annette Watson, Katie Young, Barrie Stewart and Sarina Robertson were invited to the prestigious event at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh on Monday 1 July, in recognition of their long-standing service and commitment to the organisation.

The volunteers joined guests from across Scotland who have made outstanding contributions to their communities. Despite some traditional Scottish summer rain, the atmosphere remained joyful as guests mingled in the gardens of the King’s official residence in Scotland. Also in attendance were Queen Camilla, the Princess Royal and First Minister John Swinney.
Sarina, who is the county’s lead volunteer for adventure, said: “It was an incredible honour to attend the garden party and represent Girlguiding Dunbartonshire. We’re proud to be part of a movement that empowers girls and young women every day.”
