Going Away With (GAW) has changed.  It’s all online now, although participants still get a mentor, plus a residential visitor as well.  If you’re a leader (or a nearly leader) who is thinking of taking girls away, come and find out what the scheme involves, including how to do the paperwork (RENs – residential event notifications) to get permission to run an event.  If you’re a commissioner, come and find out what you need to do to support leaders and sign off paperwork.  And, if you’d like to support someone undertaking their GAW, come and find out about the mentor side of things.  Mentors or potential mentors should stay for the whole event, 2.00-5.00pm, while others just need to do the earlier bits from 2.00-4.00pm.  Doors open for refreshments at 1.30pm.  Please book by emailing gaw@girlguidingdunbartonshire.org.uk.
