1st Clydebank Guides and Rangers are celebrating their success after achieving a host of prestigious Girlguiding awards.
At a recent unit meeting, leaders handed out four Commonwealth Awards, two Rangers Gold Awards, three Guide Bronze, two Guide Silver, and two Guide Gold Awards.
A five-year volunteer service award was also presented to Greta McKinlay for her dedication and commitment to Girlguiding.

Carole Meakin, leader of 1st Clydebank Guides and Rangers, which meets at Dalmuir Community Centre, said: “It was fantastic to see so many young members achieving such high honours in Girlguiding. These awards represent their dedication, resilience and enthusiasm in taking on new challenges.
“We are also incredibly grateful to our volunteers, whose support makes guiding possible for girls and young women across the area.”

The Commonwealth Award is one of the highest accolades in Girlguiding, recognising exceptional commitment to personal development, community service and international awareness.

The Guide and Ranger awards mark significant milestones in the Guiding journey, encouraging members to develop skills, confidence, and leadership.
