Clydebank Girl Guides celebrated a fantastic year of fun, friendship and achievement at their recent awards night.

Members of the 6th Clydebank Girl Guides, who meet in the Tower Centre, in Melfort Avenue, were presented with an impressive collection of awards, including Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. A range of interest badges and skills builder awards were also handed out, reflecting the wide range of new skills the Guides have been working on throughout the year.

Friendship award

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Dot Boyle Friendship Award to Orla O’Donnell – given to a young member who embodies kindness, teamwork and the true spirit of Guiding.
