Girlguiding Dunbartonshire gives girls and young women adventure, fantastic experiences and fun – all within a supportive girl-only environment.
We offer something for all ages, from outdoor activities like kayaking to the opportunity to travel.
We want every girl to experience what guiding has to offer, and with around 670 volunteer leaders who are all trained, supported and assessed we aim to give your daughter a fantastic guiding journey .
If you are interested in volunteering you can register your interest but clicking on the link at the top of the page.
Guiding in your area
Dunbartonshire County is one of the largest in Scotland, with almost 3,000 girls enjoying weekly meetings and activities. You can see what areas we cover on our Who We Are pages.
If you would like to register your daughter use the link at the top of the page.
Open to all
We want every girl to be able to take part in guiding, no matter her background or individual circumstances. And we do everything we can to make sure she has a great guiding experience.
Give your time
As a parent or guardian you may be interested in supporting your child in her guiding activities. If you’d like to join the fun at your local unit there are a variety of ways to do this. Whether it’s a one-off visit to teach the girls how to bake the perfect cupcake or a regular slot as a unit helper, the time you give will really improve the lives of girls in your area. Speak to your unit leader for more information.
If you are near Glasgow or Edinburgh you can pop into Girlguiding Scotland’s shops to purchase your uniform or visit our online shop. Each girl who visits one of Girlguiding Scotland’s shops to get their uniform will get an ‘I visited the Guide shop’ badge.
