SUMMARY:February 2027 1st Response training
DESCRIPTION:1st Response training will take place over three sessions: you will need to attend all three session\, plus complete the e-learning on the Girlguiding learning platform\, in order to achieve your 1st Response qualification. \nFebruary’s Session 1 will take place at Milngavie Guide hall (Oakburn Avenue\, G62 7NR) on Sunday 7th February 2027 from 2-4pm.  This is the in-person session. \nSessions 2 and 3 will take place on Zoom\, on Sunday 21st and Sunday 28th February from 7.30pm to around 9.30pm (one will be a little bit longer and the other a little bit shorter). \nPlease book by emailing 1stresponse@girlguidingdunbartonshire.org.uk giving your name\, unit\, membership number and confirming that you are aged 18 or older.

SUMMARY:Camp Càirdeas 11th-17th of July
DESCRIPTION:Camp Càirdeas will be a large-scale camp for Guides and Rangers in July 2027! It’s the first camp Girlguiding Scotland has delivered in many years and it’s an exciting opportunity to bring girls together from across Scotland. \nIt’s a space for girls ages 10-18 to have fun\, make friends\, challenge themselves and go on adventures\, with a range of on and off-site activities to take part in. Activities will cover a range of areas including adventure\, creativity\, wellbeing\, skills and learning\, fun and games. They will create meaningful connections and build a community. \nWho is this camp for? \nCamp Càirdeas is for Girlguiding Scotland Guides (aged 10-14) and Rangers (14-18). \nAdult members can attend with their group\, however\, please note that there will be a specific sub-camp for leaders to stay in. To ensure that as many young people as possible can benefit from the camp please be mindful of how many adults you intend to bring.
